Do I need an engineer or a home inspector?
A home inspector provides a general overview. If structural issues like foundation cracks or sagging beams are found, a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required to legally diagnose the cause and design a repair.
When should a pre-drywall framing inspection occur?
It should be performed after the rough-ins (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) are complete but before insulation and drywall are installed. This allows us to see all structural connections.
What states is IDE licensed in?
